I will never forgot the summer I helped build homes.

I will never forget the summer I had the oppournity to help build homes.  I learned so much and got into killer shape.  I couldn't believe all the work and special skills that go into constructing a well made house.  All the planning, ordering materials, blue prints, man hours...I could go on for hours will all the things that are necessary.

But I am so suprised how just within 15 years, how things have evoled within the home building market.  And one of the big chances is the wide use of insulated concrete forms.  This cost effective and green technology is made from 100% recycled waste wood.  Don't worry it is clean and doesn't use foam or polystyrene.  These forms use Durisol which is a proprietary wood concrete material (cement bonded wood fiber).

I know when I get the chance to have a new home constructed I will definately look into using this green building option.
